Rental-car requirements
The principal driver must present a valid driving licence, passport and credit card in their own name. A security deposit or card authorisation may be required.
Taboga Island
The rental car cannot be taken to Taboga Island. It must remain parked on the mainland; parking costs and parking security are not included or guaranteed.
Ferry schedule
Ferry times are subject to change, weather and availability. Confirm the current schedule in advance and arrive at the terminal early enough for check-in.
Departure timing
Allow ample time for the ferry crossing, possible delays, the drive to the airport and vehicle return. For an early flight, an additional final night in Panama City is strongly recommended.
Vehicle and local costs
The booked vehicle is a category, not a guaranteed model. Fuel, tolls, fines, parking, optional extras and additional insurance are payable locally unless explicitly included.
